The town has all main facilities; supermarket, butcher, chemist, baker, green grocer, tobacconist, banks, bars and restaurants. The main commercial centre of Gandia is just 7 kilometres away. Gandia has a hospital, good national rail links and bus services and buses run every 10 minutes to and from the beach. Gandia is 65 kilometres south of Valencia and 116 kilometres north of Alicante. International airports in both of these main towns. Valenciana and Castilian Spanish are spoken in the region.

The apartment is close to (and overlooks) the municipal sports centre with basketball, football, swimming, padel tennis, Valencian pilota, volley ball, fitness centre and a café bar. There are three golf clubs close Oliva, the next town along to Piles

Views from the apartment and roof terrace are across the orange groves to the Mediterranean and over the rooftops to the mountains. The mountains, with their rugged roads, rivers and streams, are delightful and cool places to go in the hottest days of summer. Local activities include mountaineering, climbing and organised walking and hiking along the signposted trails.

The building has four apartments, one on each floor, with a bar on the ground floor. This apartment on 74.70 m2 is on the top floor, with the roof terrace above it. There is no lift. The main door to the building on the ground floor has a voice link and electronic door entry system from the apartment.
